Now, granted, up until this latest move, newspapers and magazines are free to say anything they want, even when the stories are so bizarre and out of touch with what the majority of Americans feel. Two examples of this on the Internet are the Huffington Post and Joe Klein, who writes for the Times.
Of course, sales of newspapers and magazines have dropped so dramatically, many of them are filing for bankruptcy. This is, in part, due to the vast majority of people in the world, who now use the Internet to get their news.
It is also because most newspapers and magazines are slanted to appeal to the liberals.
The largest and most successful Internet Search Engine, Google, has already designed their search results to reflect the liberally biased mainstream media, as well.
A perfect example of this is a recent search for Samuel Adams, the Founding Father who represented the faith Americans used to have in their government, yields many results.
Unfortunately, most of them relate to the beer of the same name.
This is disturbing for anyone who has ever lived with, or who has ever known an alcoholic and the problems associated with family members of alcoholics.
Put Glenn Beck into a Google search and most of them place him in a negative light, with the photos that show up being very offensive. It took a while to find this one.
With Sarah Palin, it is even worse. Her name in a search produces the most offensive things I have seen thrown at women since way before the Women's Liberation Movement.
Therefore, all this proves is that for conservative-minded people, the Internet is already taken over by liberal-minded people.
If the government takes over the whole thing, it will most assuredly make matters worse.
If you look at their record of accomplishments so far, you will see what I mean.
A 787 billion dollar stimulus/jobs bill has resulted in higher taxes, less of an income tax refund, and a higher unemployment rate.

A $940 billion dollar healthcare/education bill has already caused changes to taxpayers' healthcare and has hiked up the prices they pay.

This reminds me of something my friend's dad used to say to him, letting him know that he was keeping an eye on him. He would say, "I'm watching you, freshy."
Yes, they certainly are.
As a wise man once said:
"If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth."~Ronald Reagan 1964
However, my father's friend also used to say, "I'll beat the pants off ya!" So, we have to beat them at their own game and stay a step ahead at all times. Because this really IS the last stand.
